Courtesy of Covid I have spent a lot more time surfing the net than I normally would and the other night came across a topic on this site referring to the Flexit sidecar.

This wasn't without much heart-rending, we loved our K's.Īnyway, to the point of this message. Unfortunately, no end of attempts to dampen this failed and eventually we moved to a Honda ST1100 for the sidecar to fit on. Sadly, we found that the engine vibrations from the K100 carried through to the Flexit, and with the screen closed produced a bad 'body boom'. You ride it in the same manner as a solo. The reason being the arrival of a little bundle of fun (or daughter) so we needed 3 seats.įor those of you not familiar with the Flexit, it is a fully enclosed leaning sidecar. We were previously owners of a K100RS, purchased in 1985 and eventually sold with 110,000 miles as we bought a newer model to fit a Flexit Sidecar to. I'm cheating here a little by joining the group.
